Astraside Regeneration, through partly owned subsidery Astraside Energy, are proposing a combined Heat and Power plant which may help regenerate Levenmouth docks.

The proposal links the provision of combined Heat & Power with 9000 homes and industry. It has the support of the local trust and is currently being considered by Fife Council.

Proposals include:

  • Design of the energy solution through an Energy Centre and District Heating Network
  • Fund the solution with grants backing and council annuity funding
  • Operate the system for a concession period
  • Provide full billing and customer support service to customers and recover funding via customer bills
