Mark has a background in development, investment and fund management, with an in depth knowledge of the retail sector.

He is currently working on long term land assembly projects with stakeholders including L&G, Sainsbury's and Land Securities as well as some of the largest local authorities in the UK. To realise many of these projects Astranta have just formed a 50/50 JV – Astraside Regeneration.

Before joining Astranta, Mark was Head of Retail Portfolio Management at Land Securities. Whilst there Mark served as Director on JV Boards with Delancey, Henderson, Hammerson and British Land and was directly involved in some of the largest property developments and transactions in the UK.

In a previous role as Fund Director at F&C he was responsible for the investment performance of the £2.4bn Sun Alliance and Royal Life property portfolios.

Mark is also a director of Onslow Wave Ltd (t/a Urban Surf) an innovative quasi leisure/retail business bringing healthy hedonism and indoor surfing to shopping centres across the UK and Europe.

He is a member of BCSC and the IPF.

In his occasional spare time he disappears into the Hampshire countryside or the Highlands.
